Do you feel God calling you to help those in need in our own congregation, as well as our community and abroad? If YES, then we would love to have you join our team!
We are open to new ideas and ways to help others as God called us to do. The committee meets monthly to brainstorm on how to serve those in need.
Current ways we serve:
Soup Kitchen – Second Thursday of each month we help prepare and serve the meal.
Mid-Town Community Center – The congregation donated personal care bags in October. We will work with them to serve a holiday meal in December and collect gifts for children.
Food Bank of Siouxland – The congregation donated food for the Harvest Holiday Baskets. A monetary gift will be provided later in the year.
Lila Mae’s House – Monetary donation.
Hope Street – We are in contact with the director to assist with their needs.
Mercy Meals – Members of the congregation sign up to package meals one Saturday a month.
