L: Uplifted by the promised hope of healing and resurrection, we join the people of God in all times and places in praying for the church, the world, and all who are in need.
L: God of resurrection, we pray for your church. Raise up new life from this time of separation and isolation. Keep us close to you and devoted to you even as our regular routine of worship is suspended. Lord, in your mercy,
C: hear our prayer.
L: God, give wisdom, discernment, and courage to the authorities in our society. We pray for The President and Congress, for the Governor and Legislature, for the Mayor and Council, and for health officials as they make difficult decisions about how to protect us from sickness. Lord, in your mercy,
C: hear our prayer.
L: We pray for those who are sick, hurting, or mourning. We pray especially for those among us who are in need of your healing care. Skip Meisner, Barb Curry, Doug Walker, Jim Mandicino, and Jim Sorvaag’s sister, Karen, as they face the ordeals of cancer. We also pray for Ken Cain, Merle Hanslip, Marc Anfinson, and Janet Burrack, as they continue to face health issues; Pastor Dave Carlson and Ron Heaton, recovering from surgery; and Katie Linder.
Lord, in your mercy,
C: hear our prayer.
L: Lord, bring an end to the COVID-19 pandemic. Heal those who are sick and comfort those who mourn death. Watch over all the health care workers who are caring for the sick. Protect us and bring us through this crises, by your will. Lord, in your mercy,
C: hear our prayer.
L: With bold confidence in your love, almighty God, we place all for whom we pray into your eternal care; through Christ our Lord.
A: Amen.

Lord’s Prayer

Hymn: Thine is the Glory
1. Thine is the glory, risen, conquering Son; endless is the victory thou o’er death hast won!
Angels in bright raiment rolled the stone away, kept the folded graveclothes where thy body lay.
Refrain: Thine is the glory, risen, conquering Son; endless is the victory thou o’er death hast won!
2. Lo, Jesus meets thee, risen from the tomb! Lovingly he greets thee, scatters fear and gloom;
Let his church with gladness hymns of triumph sing, for the Lord now liveth; death hath lost its sting!
Refrain: Thine is the glory, risen, conquering Son; endless is the victory thou o’er death hast won!
3. No more we doubt thee, glorious Prince of life; life is naught without thee; aid us in our strife;
Make us more than conquerors, through thy deathless love; bring us safe through Jordan to thy home above.
Refrain: Thine is the glory, risen, conquering Son; endless is the victory thou o’er death hast won!

Blessing:

L: Almighty God, Father, + Son, and Holy Spirit bless you now and forever.
A: Amen.
