On October 31, 1517, Martin Luther nailed a list of 95 theses (items to be debated) on the door of the church at Wittenberg. His intent was to reform his church, the Roman Catholic Church. But, the Church was not ready for the reforms Luther had in mind, and the foundations of
today’s Lutheran Church were laid.
On Sunday, October 30, our Trinity family will gather for worship one service at 10:30 for our Reformation Festival Service to remember how our Lutheran heritage began. After the service there will be a potluck meal to celebrate our confirmands and to fellow-ship together, so bring your favorite dish to share.
Six of our youth will also publicly affirm their faith in God and in their desire to be a part of the ministry of Trinity on Reformation Sunday.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 30 – ONE SERVICE AT 10:30 A.M.
