Our Sunday School youth will take on their own gift-giving project this Christmas. We are asking our Sunday School families to purchase the items needed to include in a Personal Care bag (listed below), which will be handed out to our neighbors in need at Mid-Town Family Community Center during one of their Saturday meals in December.
This project will coincide with their Christmas program, as they will be the shining lights for someone this Christmas. List of Items in a Bag (travel or small size products):
- Bar of soap, plus soap container
- Deodorant Hand Sanitizer
- Shampoo Toothbrush/Toothpaste
- Wash Cloth Comb
We ask that you purchase all the items included on the list and put them in a gallon Ziplock bag so we can give them to Mid-Town Family Community Center. A basket will be placed in the Narthex in which to place your bags.
We ask that you return your personal care item bags to the church by Sunday, December 3rd.
