Since the 9th century the Christian Church has celebrated All Saints’ Day. This is a special day for remembering those of God’s family who have gone before us. On Sunday, November 5, we will celebrate this day as All Saints’ Sunday during our 9:00 & 11:00 worship services. On this day we will recognize and remember all those who were born into the Kingdom of God through Holy Baptism, affirmed their faith in their Confirmation and departed to their reward in God’s heavenly Kingdom since last All Saint’s Day, in our prayers and by listing their names in the bulletin.

We rejoice with those who are born anew among us. We celebrate those who have affirmed their faith. We know that many of you still experience the sorrow which comes as you think of your loss. We pray that you may find comfort and strength in the promises of our God. We know that God walks with us through all the times and seasons of our lives, and is always present.

If you have a loved one who has passed away this past year and is not a member of Trinity, but would like their name included in the bulletin, please contact the church office by October 22 with their name.
We hope that you will be able to be present at our worship service on Sunday, November 5, as we share together our faith in God.
