During the season of Lent, we will be sharing the series Cross+Gen Journey to the Cross on Wednesday evenings, along with the Holden Evening Prayer. During the worship service we will be able to engage all ages in faith formation through conversation, activities, prayer and song. We will take time to hear each other’s stories and to learn from one another as we grow in faith together and prepare for the good news of the resurrection at Easter!
LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS will be served by our youth on Wednesday evenings during the Lenten season from 5:30-6:30pm. All funds raised from our Lenten suppers go into our youth account. A variety of soups will be served, along with french bread and dessert. Come and enjoy a hot bowl of soup and good fellowship before you attend the Lenten worship at 7:00pm (February 25th through March 25th).
The Confirmation class will not meet at 6:00pm during Lent. Instead, the students will attend the 7:00pm service with their families. The activity/worship schedule for the Wednesdays during Lent is as follows:
5:00-6:30 ………. Lenten Soup Supper (served by our youth)
5:30-6:00 ………. Handbell Choir practice
6:00-6:30 ………. Chancel Choir practice
7:00-7:30 ………. Lenten Service
