Song: #656 – Blessed Be the Tie That Binds

Prayers

L: Uplifted by the promised hope of healing and resurrection, we join the people of God in all times and places in praying for the church, the world, and all who are in need.
L: Lord, make your people bold in the way that they speak and the way that they live, so that their con-duct would show others your love. Lord in your mercy…
A: hear our prayer.
L: Lord, we pray for our cultures and our society. We groan under the weight of the coronavirus pandemic and we pray for it to end. Provide us with health, with safety, and with perseverance.
A: hear our prayer.
L: Lord, we pray for those who suffer and are sick. We pray especially Skip Meisner, Barb Curry, Doug Walker, Jim Mandicino, and Jim Sorvaag’s sister, Karen, as they face the ordeals of cancer. We also pray for Ken Cain, Merle Hanslip, Marc Anfinson, and Janet Burrack, as they continue to face health issues; Ron Heaton and Mia Clark, recovering from surgery; and Katie Linder. We lift up the family of Pastor Dave Carlson, as well as our own Trinity family, as we mourn his death. Lord, in your mercy,
A: hear our prayer.
L: Your commands are good and merciful. Give us courage to take hold of our baptismal promises to work for justice, advocate for the voiceless, and free the oppressed and imprisoned in body, mind, or spirit. Lord, in your mercy,
A: hear our prayer.
Here other intercessions may be offered.
L: With bold confidence in your love, almighty God, we place all for whom we pray into your eternal care; through Christ our Lord.
A: Amen.

Lord’s Prayer

Amen.
